Hope Hid Away
Elle’s latest single, Hope Hid Away, released in May 2025, was commissioned by the Ottawa Cancer Foundation to serve as the theme song to their 30th anniversary campaign. Elle’s intimate account of her family’s journey through the cancer treatment of her mother and aunt, now serves as the soundtrack to promotional media for the fundraising campaign. Elle is also the feature performer at OCF campaign events, including the 2025 Aurora Gala, where she opened for the Juno Award Winning band, the Strumbellas.

The 2025 Aurora Gala
So much gratitude to those who attended the Aurora Gala, donated, and supported the production of this song. In particular, on the production front, the success of this project is due to Mike Dubue of Studio Cimetière, and drummer, Matt Aston. The gala raised over $130,000 in a single evening (in fact, in the space of ten minutes); funding which will go towards improving cancer care and support services in the community.
